Planning to Move to Santa Fe?

If you are moving to Santa Fe, you already know that The City Different has an abundance of history and a world-renowned art scene. But what do you need to know to live here?

Schools

The district supports magnet and community schools, educating over 13,500 students. Santa Fe is also home to several private schools ranging from preparatory to religious to alternative schools.

Parks and Recreation

Santa Fe’s Parks & Recreation Department provides fun opportunities for residents throughout the year at its five recreational centers. Enjoy a game of tennis at the outdoor tennis courts. Learn how to kayak or ice skate. Take a yoga, Pilates, or water exercise class. Skate on the ice arena, or play volleyball, basketball, or indoor soccer.

Santa Fe also boasts more than 50 parks. Take a scenic walk through rose gardens, or let the kids play at the local playground. Catch a local soccer, softball, or rugby match at one of the athletic parks.

If you are interested in getting your game on or spending time outdoors, the Parks & Rec Department has got you covered.
