Made up of nine individual neighborhoods, and about a mile from the Plaza, each community has its own personality.
This community, made up of nine individual neighborhoods, lies about a mile east of the city’s downtown Plaza. And each community – Altamira, Aspen Compound, Cresta, Cumbre Vista, Kachina Hills, La Viveza, Los Altos, Los Altos Norte, and Los Nidos – has its own personality. Each one has a unique style while still belonging to the overall aesthetic. In total, these 189 properties are within walking distance of downtown, and each offers residents excellent amenities and upgrades.
The larger Estancia Primera group has its own community service association, while each neighborhood also maintains a homeowner’s association for its residents.
Estancia Primera homeowners and their guests enjoy exclusive access to the Culpin Recreation Center. This multi-use facility has a furnished clubhouse, racquetball court, swimming pool, tennis court, showers and locker rooms, an outdoor patio with barbecue grills, and a meeting-entertainment room. There are single-family homes, condominiums, and townhomes available here. There’s a feeling of community in Estancia Primera, while still providing ample space between the homes.
The Santa Fe Ski Basin, which offers Alpine and Nordic trails, is only a short drive away, and the Santa Fe National Forest, which has miles of hiking and mountain biking trails, is just as close by. In the other direction, there’s Santa Fe’s downtown Plaza, which offers world-class shopping, museums, and dining establishments. The Plaza also hosts festivals and community events year-round as well as the City Different’s two largest summertime markets: Indian Market and Spanish Market, which bring in visitors, collectors and admirers from all over the world.
