Two gated subdivisions surrounded by the Santa Fe National Forest.
The Summit, and the High Summit, are two gated subdivisions surrounded by the Santa Fe National Forest. And, as befits their name, they boast expansive views in all directions – quite literally. Downtown is just minutes away, and these mountainside residences offer a wide range of styles, with the lots being just as inviting. The roads are paved roads, there are City water and sewer services, and the buried electricity, natural gas, and high-speed internet make this community clutter-free and all the more attractive.
View-wise, residents can see north toward southern Colorado; south to the Sandias (Albuquerque’s mountains); east to the Sangre de Cristos; and west to the Jemez Mountains. Situated as it is barely outside of forest land, waking up to the sight of deer, bear, and other wildlife in one’s backyard is not unusual. Homes here were wisely designed to take advantage of the natural environment, while also affording owners plenty of privacy. Inside, many of the homes also boast floor-to-ceiling windows, oversized terraces, French doors, and media rooms, among other high-end, unique features.
The Santa Fe Ski Basin’s Nordic and Alpine trails are just a short drive away, as is Ten Thousand Waves with its outdoor hot tubs, spa treatments, and rejuvenating massages. The Santa Fe National Forest’s miles of hiking and biking trails, the Santa Fe Opera, and downtown Santa Fe are all but a short distance from your front door.
